Different types of surgery may be required to lift the eyelids depending on the primary problem. In some cases the eyelids are too low (ptosis) and in some cases there is too much excess skin of the upper eyelid giving rise to hooding or dermatochalasis.
An eyelid lift may require:
- A ptosis repair.
- A blepharoplasty.
- Or a combination of the both.
- A brow (frontalis suspension).
